1/2 teaspoon butter

1/2 cup sliced, fresh strawberries

1/4 cup maple syrup dash of nutmeg

Cooking Instructions

 

1. In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the fruit and cook until it begins to soften slightly about two to three minutes.

 

2. Add the maple syrup and nutmeg. Bring to a boil and take off the heat.

 

For breakfast, serve over French Toast or Griddle Cakes; for dessert, serve over low-fat ice cream or frozen yogurt.
